Today I still cannot believe that you are not here anymore.  We had yet another holiday without you here.  Mother's Day, my birthday, Amanda's birthday, and then yours and Daddy's anniversary all in 1 week was a bit overwhelming.  But with God's help, we made it through with thinking of great memories you made for us to always hold on to!!  You are a precious mother and I miss you!  I think of you every minute of the day- So incredibly hard not to want to pick up the phone and just say "hey momma"....So at peace that you are in Heaven - God knows I miss you but He knows the purpose and the plan. Was done and God needed you. Even though your death was a shock to all of us, it was not to God. He knew he was calling you home. I am so blessed to know you are in heaven and that you gave me wonderful sisters to carry on your legacy. Daddy misses you but we keep him busy with all of us. Momma I don't even know where to start.  I need to see you, talk to you, feel your touch, and have your cooking (we are starving).  I miss you more and more everyday.  I have had so many people tell me that I am just like you and I only hope I can be half of what you were.  You were the most caring, thoughtful, giving, and sweetest person that I know.....I am so proud to be your daughter and I am very blessed to have had such a wonderful mother!!  I think about you every minute of the day.  I love you more than words can desribe and I thank you for everything that you did for me and my sweet family.  We miss you deeply!!

Wow, I don't even know where to begin. Alice you were and still are a big part of my life. Their isn't a day that goes by that I don't think of you, their isn't a moment my heart don't hurt. But I know that you are in God's presence now and wow how awesome is that. I thank you for excepting me into your family and for Amanda! Its a blessing to be married to her, she is a carbon copy of you and that I'm very grateful for. I thank you for the love that you gave my two boys! Today you hace been in heaven for 1 month!  I am so content to know that but my heart hurts to want to talk to you!  I am so blessed that you leave a legacy though...You taught us 3 sisters to stay close and we promise to do that...You did an awesome job as a momma and I pray that I will be just as giving and caring as you were as a mother one day. Alice was a very special person how she always took care of everyone. I remember looking up and seeing you both there when Skip and Janice lost their house to the fire. Alice always had the ability to make people feel special. No matter who you were or where you saw her, she was all smiles. We will miss her terriblly even though we didn't get to see her as often as we would have wished.  Our precious Ronnie and family... our love, hugs and prayers are with you.

Alice was such a wonderful and sweet lady! I had the honor of washing her hair every Friday! The salon will not be the same without her! And oh how I will miss that delicious peanut butter fudge! I had the privilege of styling Alice's hair for more than 15 yrs! She was not just a client but a precious friend! The salon won't be the same in Friday without her smiling face ! I feel like I have lost someone in my own family.  The good lord broke the mold when Alice Farmer was born.  I can just hear her in my head laughing and she just brought so much laughter to all of us on top of the fact she is and will forever be the best friend my mother will ever have!  The Bowen Family has lost a DEAR FAMILY FRIEND.  My prayers go out to ALL of Alice's family....Shea

Ronnie, My sister, Faye, & I grew up near Alice and her family in Fairmont.  Our families visited often.  She was really a sweet girl.  Her brothers will remember us.  Our thoughts & prayers are with you at this time.
