Doug served 10 years in the National Guard. He was very proud of his Country.
He retired after 50 years of services at ACIPCO. Doug loved everyone that worked with him and he treated them life family.
Doug was a very hard worker and that is one thing he taught his two children was good work ethic.
Doug loved Hunting, fishing with his son Shane. He passed that love for fishing on to his 2 granddaughters and his great grandson. Doug never let them leave before he was telling them how much he loved them.
Doug loved working in his yards, and keeping it pretty for Marie. And that is were his daughter Pam got her love for cutting grass and working outside.
Doug loved spending time with his family, and we can't for get how much he loved watching Alabama Football with his loving wife. Doug and Marie both loving spending time together and talking about how much they Loved the Lord. And how blessed they are for all that the Lord has done for them and there family.
Surviors include his loving wife of 62 years, Shirley Marie (Carroll) Terry, his daughter Pamela (Brian) Salyers, his son Shane (Sallie) Terry, his granddaughter's Heather (Garrett) Salyers, Kennedy Terry, his great grandson Caleb Salyers. His brother Mark (Ruth) Terry and a Host Of Nieces and Nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents HP and Chestene Terry, and his In-Laws Randolph and Edna Carroll.
