I never had the pleasure of meeting Ryli but I know we would have hit it off! Ardo is my captain and I was always asking him how he was doing and how Ryli was doing! I was always praying for Her and for Ardo and family! Continued prayers for you all!

Thank you so much for allowing so many of us to come honor Ryli with you.  She touched so many lives and we are each better for knowing her.

My favorite memory working with Riley happened in probably March 2020. This was when the pandemic was getting really serious and us Trader Joe’s employees had not started wearing masks yet. Riley got into a verbal altercation with a couple customers who were acting suspicious and was telling them they had to leave. I got caught right in the middle of it because the argument was taking place in the hallway outside the restrooms which I had just come out of. At that time we were all advised to stay at least 6 feet away from each other so I was internally panicking a little since I couldn’t distance myself from them at first. Later when things calmed down we had a good laugh about it. It’s a memory I’ll never forget.

An incredible night seeing a Star Wars “themed” show with you guys. We shared many laughs and had lots of fun.  :)

I met Ryli when we worked together at Trader Joe's in Huntington Beach.  She had such a great attitude.  She was always so positive and kind-hearted.   She was so giving and selfless.  She had the ability to turn a tough day into a  great day.  She had an incredible smile and a very infectious laugh.  We had so many big laughs and a lot of fun working together.  I feel very fortunate to have known her.  My thoughts, deepest sympathy and love go out to Ardo and the entire Wilkins family.

I met Ryli in August of 2020 when I was lucky enough to have the opportunity to be her Captain at Trader Joe’s in Huntington Beach. We bonded quickly over celebrity gossip and regular conversations about all things Britney Spears. She had a spark and energy that was easy to recognize right away. She was always positive and saw the silver lining in everything. She was very supportive of me as I navigated my first year as a Captain.  She would remind me that nothing was as serious as it was and was always great at building up others.  Her laugh was contagious and I always knew she was somewhere in the store making someone else smile and laugh as well. I will forever remember her resilience, her support, and the way she treated her friends. Even as she was going through the worst she would ask how you were doing. I am grateful for the lessons she taught me as a colleague and friend. My thoughts and prayers are with Ardo and the rest of Ryli’s family.

So incredibly sorry for your loss. In the short time my wife worked with Ryli, she always raved about her glowing positivity and kindness toward others. Our deepest sympathies to you and your families.

I am so, so sorry for your loss. Ryli was a special person. She was beautiful inside and out.  

I recall meeting her for the first time, and being struck by her incredible smile. Over the years I had many wonderful interactions with her, and each one she was so incredibly kind and beaming with late.  I really enjoyed watching her grow in her leadership role at Trader Joe’s.  Ryli took her job seriously but not herself. She was always quick to laugh and look at the sunny side of situations and so dedicated to her crew. 

I will miss her, Trader Joe’s will miss her. We are all better because of her.  Christy Hughes

Ryli’s first Metallica concert.  I remember Ardo and Ryli being so hyped for the concert, they sang every lyric.  Fond memory of the four of us crossing the bridge after the concert in a sea of 80,000 hungry metal heads.  Great times with even greater company.

My name is Noelle. I Recall the day you got promoted, your smile and high fives, will forever sit with me. The positivity and the energy you showed us at 47, was inspiring along with amazing.  Your smile, your presence, will be missed, but you my friend will never be forgotten.

Our hearts are broken at the loss of one of our family.  Ryli was so young, so full of life and promise.  I hope you can find some comfort in the memories you shared with her and the love she had for you.  She will always be in our hearts and thoughts.  We will miss her greatly.

Christmas 2022 at Brad and Susan’s house. Ryli looked great and was so happy. All of the family was so happy that day.

This Disneyland trip was a bit impromptu! One day, my mom and I were out grocery shopping. When we stopped by Trader Joe’s, the first person I saw, as I walked through the door, was Ryli. I shouted out, “You’ve got to be kidding me!” She noticed my voice, turned around, and replied, “Seriously?!” we shared a huge hug, and immediately started talking! A bit later my mom made it clear to me that, we had to go. So while saying our goodbyes, I asked, “When are you free next? I’ve missed you and we need a best friend day together!” After thinking for a second or two, she responded with, “I’m actually free tomorrow! Disneyland?!” After realizing I was also free the next day, I happily replied, “Disneyland!” That day was, one of the best Disneyland days with Ryli! Ever! The entire day was a reminder for me that, we will always be best friends! It didn’t matter to us, how long it had been since we last seen each other. When we were together, it was just as it had always been!

I feel lucky fortunate blessed whatever to have known Ryli. Her positive mental attitude was contagious her smile her laughter and caring for everyone. Ryli was a special person. No matter what your beliefs I know that the universe God received another Angel

I’ll always remember Ryli by her smile. It was impossible to not smile seeing those pearly whites come across a room. She inspires me, as well as many others I’m sure, to live life in the positive and spread as much happiness as humanly possible.
