Roberto Piamonte Laurel

Robert Piamonte Laurel (62) passed away peacefully on May 25, 2023, with his family lovingly by his side. He was born on December 16, 1960, to Rufina S. Piamonte and Jose N. Laurel. Robert lived his young life in Manila, Philippines with his seven siblings along with many aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends nearby.

Robert migrated to the US in 1984. He met his lovely wife, Vicky in 1986 and got married in January 1988. They were blessed with 1 precious child, Jessica who just got married in March of this year to Ricky Nguyen.

Robert was known for his kindness and willingness to help, which he demonstrated throughout his life. He was clever and full to the brim with knowledge gained through all of his life experience as an electronic technician and handyman - he could fix anything. He will always be remembered for his enormous heart and wonderful sense of humor. He was particularly passionate about the Lakers, biking, and playing tennis and pickleball, which brought him great joy and fulfillment. His spirit will live on in the hearts of those who knew him.

Robert was predeceased by his father Jose Laurel, his mother, Rufina, his sister, Lolita, his brothers Reynaldo and Rogelio, his sister-in-law, Lisa Sarto, and brother-in-law, Segundo Presbitero.

Robert is survived and missed by his wife of 35 years, Vicky, his only child, Jessica, son-in-law Ricky Nguyen, his sisters Josie and Susan, his brothers Ricardo and Ronaldo Divine. His memory lives on with his nieces and nephews as well.

He will be missed dearly.
