My  baby brother Mike, my heart is so heavy so sad.  It’s hard to express just how you will be missed.  I have so many memories of our childhood together,especially when we were little. Then when you moved in with Ron and I . So many great times. Besides mom and dad, l hope your brother Ron was there to greet you.  I will truly miss our phone calls together and your funny humor.  You will always be in my thoughts and in my heart, l love you MY FAVORITE BROTHER!❤️💕.  Love you Mikey 

I am one of Mike's nephews. My Uncle Mike was always a good sounding board for me, and a good way to keep things in perspective. 

When I was a bit younger I was working a job selling tire's to tire shops in LA County and a decent amount of driving was involved. When I was frustrated and stuck in traffic driving, I would give Mike a call and just talk about anything. Usually the Lakers, the Dodgers, and in the end we got to my life. 

He always told me how proud he was of me for just trying. He said he saw my potential, especially when I didn't. And he went out of his way to make me laugh. Those hour long drives were softened by the encouraging and sometimes distracting calls with my Uncle Mike. 

I won't forget him or the lessons he represented with his life ; always try, and always be good to others.  I love you Uncle Mike, I'll see you later. 

Mike was a shining light in my late brothers life; Don Wisda. They were great friends who would burn midnight oil together shooting the breeze at Denny's coffee shop in Monrovia often. They were close friends for over 20 years. Mike was the encouragement who helped try to get my brother to see a doctor for his condition in addition to his nagging sister..me. We couldn't get him to go not even accept 911 emergency. He worked his life to his death as an electrician / welder.   My brother and Mike believed in Chicken soup homemade for health remedy of any ailments.  It inspired me so much..and I found soup that Mike made for my brother days before he passed away in the MWO and some in fridge. I shared lots of their friendship good times when I was clearing out my brothers workshop of 30 years over Sept & Oct.  Mike had difficulty swallowing at that time due to his condition affecting his throat He was hopeful with treatments he was getting to get better to have coffee. We kept close in touch by phone until it got difficult for him to speak. We shared notes over the past year, both missing my brother, reminiscing of good times at the shop. He spoke of himself and my brother as old fashioned "dinosaurs" in a modern fast world.  Mike refused to use a computer or cell phone with computer access.. I chuckled..cause brother Don at least had those for business. They both had old fashioned ideals and stubborn 😍
 I sent Mike an inspiration card monthly as he couldn't talk well.   He also reminded me to stay off fences cause I fell months ago...since I had grandkids to care for.  I appreciated his brotherly love and friendship since my brother Don past.
I may have 5 born brothers..but none like Don and Mike.. 
I know he's in a better place in heaven celebrating being pain free with his best bud from the past 20+ years.
Mike was the most caring loving brotherly friend my brother ever had. I will forever hold a special place in my heart and on my brothers memory quilt for him. ❤

Mike and I met over twenty five years ago at the shop we both worked in, and even after I moved back to northern California and then to Reno, we always stayed in touch. He was my best and closest friend, and the big brother I never had.  I'll never forget you brother. 

I remember playing with army men in a living room that didn’t have any furniture.  I remember playing monopoly with you and our brother Ron and you guys cheating but I still won.  I remember playing frisbee in the garage and it was the blade of death.... I remember birthdays and holidays with my big brother.... I remember so many things.... so many small moments that at the time I barely noticed.  But now I hold them so close to my heart. I miss you Mike.... my big brother, my friend.... I will hold you close forever.. until we meet again.... ❤️

There’s so many memories that I carry with me my dearest brother, but most of all your sense of humor, no matter how bad you were suffering you would answer your door for a visit with Groucho marks glasses on or have something funny to share.
  Your heart grew with love so much in the past years for all around you. And our hearts grew with so much love for you.
   There is no words to describe the love I have for you and how much you will be missed.
  You will indeed always be  ( My  favorite brother )

I'm Mike's cousin.  When he was little, he spent a lot of time with my family.  My mom was in love with him and he with her.  I was six years older than Mike.  I remember spending time with him as a little kid.  He had the biggest blue eyes and blondest hair.  He was a sweet little boy, very loving and snugly.    We used to call him Mikey Doodle and sing the Yankee Doodle song to him inserting his name.  He was loved and cherished.    We missed him so much when he left with his mom and sisters and we looked for them for years until we finally found them last year through Ancestry.  Always loved, always cherished, always wanted, always missed.  So very sorry not to have known him as he grew into an adult.  But grateful that he is no loner in pain and that he will possibly meet up with family who has gone before.  Maybe he will know then how much he was loved by those who did not have the opportunity to show him love later in his life.


One of my favorite memories of him was that when I called him on the phone and asked him how he was- no matter how bad things got- he would always reply, “Another day in paradise.” It always made me grin.

He and I shared a love for the Rat Pack, Frank Sinatra in particular. Every now and again, he would sing my favorite song to me over the phone (Fly Me To The Moon).  For as long as I live, anytime I hear ‘ok Blue Eyes on the radio, I’ll always think of my Pop. ❤️
