Liza Ann Estrada was born alongside her twin brother in Santa Ana, CA to Gregorio and Guadalupe Valenzuela on July 24, 1963. She is one of seven children, Greg Jr (Denise) her twin Joseph (Melissa), Frances (Enrique), Frank, Fred and Jane (Peter).
She lived most of her life in Westminster, CA. Attended Iva Meairs Elementary, Warner Jr High and Westminster High School.
She married the love of her life Moses on May, 25 1986 and gave birth to her miracle babies Moses Gabriel Jr on October, 20, 1989 and 16 years later to Adrian Josef on February 12, 2005. She had no greater pride than the family she created with Moses. Family and faith meant everything to her.
She was a God Mother to Amanda Sylvia, Philip Valenzuela and Samantha Quijada. A “cool’ aunt and great-aunt to countless nieces and nephews. A loving niece and cousin who enjoyed keeping in touch with the family. She was always present for anyone who called on her, family, friends and those she barely knew. She gave a helping hand, a hug and words of encouragement to anyone who needed it. Everyone was her “Babe”.
She worked for the Westminster School District for over 26 years as a Lead Food Service Worker. She spent the majority of her career at Webber Elementary. She was admired by her coworkers, school staff and students. She enjoyed being part of this community that meant so much to her.
She enjoyed playing online slots and puzzles for fun, going to the beach, watching scary movies and reality tv. She was a very good cook. She listened to R & B music, loved dancing, sewing and above all else spending time with her boys and watching them play their sports.
Liza will be missed by all who were blessed to have her in their lives, and we can only hope to live our lives as she did humbly, with faith, love and respect to all.
