Jose Juan Martinez

Jose was always hardworking and supportive as a father. His hobbies or interests included repairing watches and clocks, reading (especially history books), and gardening at home in the yard.

He is survived by his wife Luisa Martinez, his son and caregiver for over eight years Juan H. Martinez, his daughter Anna B. Weston and her husband Chad Weston of Chino Hills, CA.

A Visitation will be held at Dimond and Shannon Mortuary Thursday, March 10, from 4:00 to 8:00PM. A graveside service will be the following day March 11 meeting at Dimond and Shannon Mortuary at 10:30AM with a procession to Melrose Abbey Memorial Park at 11AM.

God Saw You Getting Tired

God saw you getting tired

and a cure was not to be

so he put his arms around you

and whispered, “Come to Me”

With tearful eyes we watched you

and saw you pass away

and although we love you dearly

we could not make you stay.

A Golden heart stopped beating

hard working hands at rest.

God broke our hearts to prove to us

he only takes the best.
