Wow i can't believe shannon is gone....I know its alittle late Mr.Tony and Ms.Cathy.I just saw it on facebook.Me and Shannon were in pre-k together at memorial day school.

Dear Cathy and Tony, 
I have been going over in my mind what to say to you to make the pain a little easier. I have lost my children and I know that no matter what I say won't ease the pain. When daddy called and told me of Shannon's accident I couldn't believe it.  Shannon you had the world by the hand and I can't believe you are no longer with us.  I remember when Shannon went to France and she sent pics of eating french fries and drinking a beer at Mc Donalds. And then the banner from the pup called "The Shannon", there are other memories but these are in the front of my mind when I think of her. We will miss you Shannon.

Cathy & Tony, I couldn't get to the memorials but you are in my thoughts & prayers. Cathy, remembering you from Memorial in the past & now working with you, I met Shannon for the first time when she came to the office around Christmas. And before that, seeing her pictures you have at your desk. I remember the 2 of us "catching up" with Robby & Shannon shortly after my working with you. I was so shocked & so sad when Judy & Stephanie told me about the accident. I'm here if you need me!

Tony and Cathy I've tried a few times to write something and I can not think of anything to say or do to make your lives any easier since Shannon's accident. Dad called and told me when it happened and even though we haven't seen one another in years my heart breaks as though we just saw each other days ago. I can remember when we lived in Savannah off Theresa Drive Shannon and I would play together while you two, mom and dad all hung out together. We were so small and young having so much fun. I remember going to the beach and playing in the ocean together. The most memorable moments for me were when my family moved to Pooler you all came over and Shannon and I were playing on this toy we had and Shannon broke her arm and then one of my birthday parties she was so scared of Chucky Cheese she ran under the table and out of the room. Apparently the bond we developed never changed after all these years because I feel as though my hearts been ripped out my chest. I now have a little girl named Emma and she will be four in May. I can not imagine how you feel. I will continue to pray for your family. I am so proud of all her accomplishments. Wow she is so beautiful and smart. I am truly so sorry. Words can't express how I feel for you,her fiance,friends,co-workers and family. I love you both and really think of you daily. I will always remember my childhood friend and love her. Dear Mr and Mrs Joiner,

You don't know me and I never met Shannon, but I work north of Atlanta and my daily commute takes me right past where her accident happened.  Unfortunately, I happened be on my way home on the evening of January 17th and I passed by the accident only moments after it happened, even before the firefighters and police arrived on the scene.  It's been difficult for me to get those thoughts out of my head in the days since that night and, as the father of four young children of my own, I cannot imagine the pain that you are experiencing.  I know that words can't help bring her back nor can they do anything to ease your sorrow, but I just wanted to let you know that people whom you've never met are thinking of you and your beautiful daughter and we're praying for you during this horribly difficult time.

Although Shannon and I didn't work together directly, she was always kind and pleasant when we spoke. It's always sad when our Father takes someone from us so soon and so suddenly. I pray that Shannon's family will have strength to get through their loss, faith to know that she is in a loving place, and peace to ease their sadness. Shannon had a kind spirit and she will be missed.

Please know that all of us at NCR share in your loss.  Shannon was a wonderful coworker and a delightful person.  She is in our prayers.

I met Shannon in 2005 and knew her both professionally and personally.  In all that time, I never saw her be anything but kind to another person, despite some difficult working situations at times. She had an amazing soul and you should feel so proud for all she accomplished.  I wish we could have seen her follow all her dreams, but she will never be forgotten.  Her unique style and humor will live on in our hearts forever.  There are no adequate words to express my sympathy or my sadness for your loss.
