James Miller Messex

Miller was born in Waynesboro GA and resided in Ellabell & later in Brooklet GA.

Miller was a Sgt in the US Army and was stationed in Ft. Bragg SC; he was a Master Mechanic have retired from Fairway Lincoln Mercury after over 30 years of service. Miller was a member of Anchor Baptist Church in Lock Haven, PA.

Survivors include his wife of 13 years, Sarah Helen Messex; 6 children , Carol McClad; David Barnes, Pam Myers Beach, Donnie Myers, Duane Myers, Sarah Brenda Myers-Zipperer; 10 grandchildren, Ashley, Tony, Randi Lin, Joseph, Stephen, Jillian, Justin, Mason, Pippa, Memphis; 4 great grandchildren, Emmyline, Ethan, Brianna, Kaley, Drew and Barrett; a sister, Julia; several nieces and nephews.

Visitation: 6:00 p.m. – 8:00 p.m. Thursday, May 29, 2014 at the Funeral Home.

Funeral Service: 1:00 p.m. Friday, May 30, 2014 at the Funeral Home Chapel.

Burial: Hillcrest Abbey West Cemetery.
