Mr. Charles William Cason

He was born in Savannah, Ga., and was preceded in death by his parents, Horace T. Cason, Sr., and Lucille Mock Cason; son, Matthew Curtis Cason, and a brother, Richard Wayne Cason.

He was employed by Cason Auto Service Center, as a Bookkeeper, and he was a member of Bethel Alliance Church, where he served as Chairman of the Deacons, Choir Director, Financial Secretary, and Usher.

He was currently serving as President of the Bethesda Home for Boys Alumni Association.

He is survived by 3 sons, William Chadwick Cason, Charles Daniel Cason, and Michael Ryan Cason, all of Tybee Island, Ga; a granddaughter, Jasmine Dianna Cason, 4 sisters, Mary Beckworth (David), Patricia Cramer (Francis), Glenda Williams, and Ruth I. Phillips (John W.); 3 brothers, Horace T. Cason, Jr., (Linda H.), David Allen Cason (Theresa Gail), and Walter Wesley Cason (Beth), and a number of nieces and nephews.

Visitation: 5 – 8 p.m. Saturday at Fairhaven Funeral Home & Crematory, in Garden City, Ga.

Funeral Services: 2:30 p.m. Sunday in the Chapel of Fairhaven Funeral Home & Crematory, with Rev. Mike Owens, pastor of Bethel Alliance Church, officiating.

Interment: Bonaventure Cemetery.
