Trudy Jean Miller, 73, went to be with her Lord and Savior Thursday, December 29, 2021 at Mt. Carmel East hospital. She is preceded in death by her father Lawrence Howdyshell, mother Betty Howdyshell, sister Carol Swank and grandson Miles Factor.
Trudy is survived by her husband of 28 years, Jon, sister Linda (Greg) Morasch, son Travis (Cassie) Myer, Daughter Tia (Ben) Factor, stepdaughter Jonelle (Doug) Dalbenzio, and stepson Jeremy (Tonya) Miller; grandchildren Cody, Eli, Peyton and Tenley Factor, Wesley, Xander and Madison Myer, Skylar and Summer Dalbenzio.
Trudy was a licensed hairdresser for over 50 years. As much as hairdressing allowed her to utilize her creativity, she loved being a talented interior decorator. If you were ever at her home, you didn't have to look far to witness her creativity. It was everywhere.
One of Trudy's favorite activities was reading books about and watching true crime stories. Sometimes she took this activity on her vacations, often ending up at the crime scene. She enjoyed working on her fairy garden and decorating her dollhouse. Her culinary skills were evident by those who enjoyed her cheesecakes, veggie pizza, pasta salad, broccoli soup and chili.
Trudy was a woman of faith and loved the Lord. She enjoyed fellowship with her church families and attended church faithfully. She was the center of her family and loved like nobody could. She devoted a lot of time to her family and her Grandkids. She will be deeply missed by all who knew her.
Visitation will take place on Thursday, January 6, 2022 from 2pm - 4pm and 6pm - 8pm at SCHOEDINGER NORTHEAST, 1051 East Johnstown Road in Gahanna. Trudy's funeral service will take place at the funeral home the following morning at 11am with Pastor Sean Spoelstra to officiate. For those unable to be present, a live webcast of Trudy's funeral will be available on her Tribute Wall shortly before the service begins. Interment will be private, held at Forest Lawn Memorial Gardens at a later date.
