Tony Ray

Tony Ray, age 41, of Blacklick, Ohio passed away on Thursday, February 8, 2024. He was born in Columbus, Ohio on September 11, 1982, to Robert and Elaina Ray. Tony is survived by Robert and Elaina, sister, Chevin Ray, brother Connor Ray and preceded in death by his brother Chase Ray.

Tony grew up in Gahanna, Ohio, and graduated special education classes at Northeast on Hamilton Road. Tony loved music and sports, especially Jazz music and Ohio State and Cleveland Browns football. He enjoyed hanging out with his roommate Travis and community events like movies, bowling, horseback riding and going to Church of the Resurrection in New Albany on Sundays, with his long time caregiver, Kathy Woodrum. Family extends a special thanks to Linda Bilardello.

Visitation will be held on Monday, February 19, from 11:00am - 12:30pm at Schoedinger Northeast Funeral Home, 1051 East Johnstown Road, Gahanna, OH 43230, with Tony's Celebration of Life Service to follow at 12:30pm. A reception will be held after the service at Creekside Conference & Event Center at 101 Mill St Ste 300, Gahanna, Ohio. Parking is provided underground off Mill Street. Food and drinks are provided.

Private interment will take place on Tuesday, February 20, at Mifflin Township Cemetery in Gahanna.
