Sarah Louise Miller, age 84, was born February 23, 1938 in Portsmouth, Ohio and passed away at home surrounded by family on February 25, 2022. Her sweet and pleasant personality touched others in ways that made her unforgettable. As a wife and mother, she provided her family with a home that she was proud of, keeping it clean and providing big suppers every evening. Her family will miss her famous homemade spaghetti dinners and delicious pies; her loving way of bringing family together on Sundays and holidays. Sarah’s love for cooking resulted in BIG grocery lists for Delilah and Bryn to fulfill when they visited, one of her memorable trademarks. She had a green thumb and loved growing beautiful flowers in her yard for all to enjoy. She treasured her favorite role in life, that of being a grandma. Affectionately known as “Gramburger”, yes, she loved a good hamburger, her grandchildren and great-grandchildren knew that they were loved and treasured. Facebook helped her as she tried to stay current on her grandchildren’s activities and accomplishments as well as events going on in the world today. Her favorite thing to do was sit in her recliner with a cup of black coffee watching TV. Gone With The Wind was her all-time favorite movie. She will be remembered as a woman of strong faith and will be missed; although she was too well loved, to ever be forgotten. Her legacy includes her children, Jeff Miller (Delilah Vo, fiancé), Russell Miller; Bryan (Donna) Miller, Max (Mona) Miller and Wyona Knowlton; grandchildren Bryan, Kelly, Maggie, Sabrina, Midge, Jimmy, Michael, Reece, Amanda (Aaron), Bret, Ryan (Danielle), Bryn Kehm (Roman), Brittany, Kristy and Russell Jr.; great-grandchildren Sam, Max, Kwai-Lin, Harper, Hudson, Mason, Searra, Kylie, Amber, Jeremy, Eric, Kayla, and Jared; and her sister Shirley Auxier. Sarah was preceded in death by her parents, James and Della (Ramey) Dale; husband Floyd Miller (in 1993); sons, Lloyd and Bill, sister Joyce and brother Lewis. Family will receive friends 10am-12pm Monday, February 28, 2022 at Schoedinger Northeast, 1051 E. Johnstown Rd., Gahanna, OH with a time of sharing at 12pm; interment to follow at Glen Rest Memorial Estate in Reynoldsburg.
