So sorry to hear of Ronda's passing.  Just recently found out as we drifted apart in the last few years. She was an amazing woman and always volunteered where needed. She was a true gem. My sincere sympathies to her entire family

My deep sympathy to all the family.  I had the pleasure of working with Ronda for many years at Abbott.  The last few years (before I retired in 2020) we were part of a jigsaw puzzle group that kept a puzzle going during breaks and lunch.  We had many a pleasant chat while working the puzzles. I enjoyed meeting her family when they came in to see her. Ronda will be missed.

I had the pleasure of working with Ronda for several years when she was part of GAFS department  (before she changed her department).  Even though I was not in her department at that time, Ronda was always very helpful and willing to go the extra mile to help all of us, any time we needed something.  She was very kind, very organized, and really a fun person to chat with.  Her smiling face will be missed by all of us.  We are very saddened by her unexpected loss....gone too soon :-(

I continue to be shaken by Ronda’s sudden passing. As a coworker & friend she was the best - ready to help anyone & make any occasion super special. She treasured her family immensely. So many conversations and laughs we had through our work day. One of many fond memories of her was observing her start up her sharp Mustang. Boy did that car sound & look cool & she look good in it too. Gone too soon - you will never be forgotten. Rest In Peace sweetheart.

I had the pleasure to see Ronda at work almost everyday! We both almost had the same “coffee” time and met at the middle of the floor where coffee was made. 

My favorite memory is when we both attended “hip hop” lessons at Abbott! Oh boy! We had so much fun trying to catch up with some of the choreography. 

I will remember her smiling, laughing and  dancing.

Brent and family,

I am so sorry to hear that Ronda has passed… in fact, I just can’t get it out of my head. I worked with Ronda years ago at EBCO/Oasis and remember her as being a nonstop dynamo! She loved you and those boys more than anything. I will keep you all in my prayers, knowing that you will all be together again.

What an unspeakably tragic loss. Ronda was so nice to work with - she was a friend to everyone and loved to talk about her kids and grandkids. This must be an unimaginable loss for her family - my prayers and thoughts go out to them as they grieve this loss.  Heaven has gained a beautiful angel!

I will miss Ronda so very much. She had an incredible sense of creativity and style. She has a way of always making you feel welcomed and happy. She always greeted me with a smile and a big hug. She spoiled the grandchildren like no other, especially at every holiday. She will always be in my thoughts and my heart for forever. 

I only knew Rhonda for a such time but what I did know she was a ray of light and very pleasant Im so sorry to hear about her passing..

Many condolences and prayers to the family ( Brent, Brandon, and Jessica) on the passing of a bubbly person like Ronda.  She worked many years at Bishop Hartley bingo in Columbus.  When she was not working, she loved to play the instant tickets.  She was quite good at it.  No matter if she won or lost, she still had a good time with her family.  She will be missed by many friends. 

My heart and my prayers go out to Brent and the Howard family. Ronda was extremely proud of her family and we talked about family often. Ronda was an outstanding colleague and friend. She was a superb planner and organizer.  She made my job easier.  She was also a lot of fun to work with. We often exchanged comedy movie lines as part of our daily dialogue.  To her I was 'little old man', a line from a Mel Brooks movie.  Her smile, her sense of humor, her work ethic, and her love of family will remain with me as her legacy.

I grew up with Brent and, as it turns out, we also worked together at Big Bear while he attended Franklin University and me OSU. It was at that time that I met Ronda (this would have been in the mid to late 1980s before they were married). I lost touch with them after moving several states away. Nonetheless, I was saddened to receive news of Ronda's sudden passing. 
My prayers go out to Brent, their family, and friends. 

I am deeply shocked and saddened to hear of Ronda’s passing. Ronda was far more than a colleague to me during my time at Abbott. She was a friend and confidant. Ronda was there for me during my time in Columbus when I was all alone and away from my family. I have so many precious memories of Ronda. Her kindness and love for her family and especially her grand children. Her wonderful smile and upbeat personality. Her willingness to go out of her way to help everyone. Ronda will be missed by many. I send my deepest condolences to her family and friends. May her soul rest in peace.

Ronda was our secretary in R&D for many years.  At that time, I helped photograph many Abbott R&D events.  One of my favorite memories of Ronda was working with her and our director to videotape a message that our director was sending to an offsite colleague.  Ronda had everything setup including a rolling script to be used during the taping.  We had a few technical issues during the taping and some good laughs but with Ronda’s creativity we accomplished our goal of a quality video message.  Even after Ronda moved to another area of Abbott, I could always count on Ronda’s help with any questions or issues that I had.

So many amazing memories with such an amazing person! I will miss you. 

I entered into this beautiful family 12 years ago and mama embraced me with open arms and even called me her daughter. We did everything together for many years from going shopping to playing bingo. She helped me become a mother to my two beautiful girls and helped me raise them into the amazing girls they are today. I couldn’t ask for anything more than the love she gave me. I will forever miss your beautiful smile and laugh when you would FaceTime me and ask me what I was cooking for dinner. I love you mama #2 forever and always. Please keep giving me signs that your still here because I need them. 

I just recently met Ronda as I was walking my puppy. She struck up a conversation & told me she & hubby helped look after the neighbors, including my almost 91 mother. She was friendly & nice. I told my mom that she has neighbors that care about her! A day or so later, I saw Ronda & Brent kissing each other before leaving for work.  I thought that was very sweet! My thoughts & prayers are with her family as they manage thru this sad event. 

Ronda cherished her family and they were her eternal source of pride and happiness.  She was also the kind of friend  we should all aspire to become.   Always faithful, affirming, protective, and encouraging growth.   It was also incredibly enjoyable and impressive when she leaned into her creative side.  You could see the sparks fly!!  Ronda we love you and know you are with angels and your presence will always be near.

I’m so shocked and sorry to hear about Ronda. She was one of the first people I met at Abbott many years ago. She always had a smile on her face and such a great laugh. Something you could never question, was the pride and love she had for her family.

Dear Howard Family, 

My friend Ronda will be deeply missed. Although we only knew each other for 11 short months, our friendship felt like forever. We made each other laugh and shared stories. My heart is broken to know I can no longer reach out to Ronda, plan lunches, meetings, and share stories and laughter. Ronda loved all of her family so much. She shared with me bingo is her favorite game, and she plans to play bingo with her family this Christmas. Ronda said this is something the elders in her family enjoy. Ronda taught me there is more than one way to play bingo, and I look forward to playing with my family this holiday in memory of my friend Ronda.

Ronda was a lovely, caring woman. This photo shows the fun, helping person that will be truly missed.

I am stunned and sadden by this loss. I am sending prayers for grace and strength to her family, whom she loves so much. "The bonds of love are only strengthened when someone leaves this earth, not diminished."  I know Ronda will always look after all of you.
