Phillip Crum, a resident at Brown Memorial Home, in Circleville, passed peacefully on November 28, 2022. He worked for Port Columbus International Airport as an Operations Coordinator for 20 years, before retiring in 1999. He grew up in Columbus, raised a family in Gahanna and Blacklick and spent several years living in Newark. Throughout his life he had many dogs that were more friends than pets.
He loved going fishing, taking camping trips, shooting guns and spending time in the outdoors. He was a proud lifetime member of the NRA. He enjoyed spending time with family, especially gathering for the holidays. Phillip was known as the jokester of the family and always tried to get a laugh out of people. His jovial antics will be greatly missed by all.
Phillip leaves behind his daughter Amy (Michael) Laws; grandchildren Autumn and Mikey Laws and Devon (Ellie) Washington; siblings John Michael Crum, Sharon (Larry) Adkins, Robert Crum, Sandi (Roger) Moyer, Gloria (Larry Cervi) Portier; nieces, nephews and many other family and friends.
He is proceeded in death by his daughter Amanda (Marcus) Brinson, parents John Chase Crum and Phyllis Jane Crum.
Family will receive friends on Thursday, December 8th from 10am-11am at SCHOEDINGER NORTHEAST, 1051 E Johnstown Rd, Gahanna. A service will be held at 11am at the funeral home with a celebratory reception immediately following.
