Nelson “Kendall” Roberts, age 61, of Westerville, Ohio, passed away at home on September 25, 2022. Kendall was born in Fort Morgan, Colorado, on September 10, 1961 to Esther Lee (Cheeseman) Roberts and Brian Kent Roberts.
Kendall often spoke of his hometown Las Cruces, New Mexico and shared stories of his years playing percussion at Mayfield High, class of 1979. Kendall deeply loved music and movies—Hunt For Red October being his favorite. Computers always fascinated him, he was passionate about the Denver Broncos (especially John Elway and team), and he loved building things with his hands and always strived for excellence in all his pursuits.
As a father, Kendall helped instill a passion for faith and God in his children that would set the trajectory for their live’s continued passions well into adulthood. He was a man strong in his beliefs, who spoke candidly about his faith, and who was not afraid to engage in debate on topics he believed in.
Later in life, Kendall developed a passion for seeing the world. His countenance was truly bright while visiting a new, intriguing place. But nothing brought Kendall as much joy in his last few years as spending time with the love of his life, Dolly, his three children, and his nine grandchildren.
