Mary Boggess

Mary Lynn Boggess, of Marysville, Ohio, passed away on Monday, April 18, 2022. She was one month shy of her 69th birthday. She was born on May 18, 1953, in West Virginia to her parents Roberta Lynn (Mills) and Russell McKinley Greene.

Mary was deeply devoted to her family & enjoyed spending time with her children & grandchildren. Starting at a very early age & continuing throughout her life, she was an excellent cook & always prepared the family meals. Never one to be the center of attention she was still able to draw the family together with quiet strength & large meals. She found peace being surrounded by her family & friends. Mary was not only a peacekeeper but also a sounding board/confidant for all her children in their times of need. Her friends describe her as a very intelligent & special person with a beautiful laugh. One of the simple pleasures in life for her was sitting outside, watching & listening to the rain. Her greatest joy came from being a homemaker & taking care of her family, who will miss her more than words can say.

She was preceded in death on February 16, 2022 by her loving husband of more than 40 years, Randy Boggess, her father, Russ Greene, her eldest daughter, Jamie Hahn, her mother, Roberta Cupples.

She will be deeply missed by her children; Jenn (Chris) Lewis, Scott Boggess & Andrea Boggess, her grandchildren; Nikki Foster, Ian Lewis & Jayden Dade, her brothers; John (Terri) Greene & Joe (Corinna) Greene, her nieces & nephews, Michael Greene, Jason (Larissa) Greene, Shelby Greene, Matthew Greene, Zach Greene & Jacob Greene, as well as many great nieces/nephews, great great nieces/nephews, cousins, aunts/uncles & in-laws.

Cremation services have been entrusted to SCHOEDINGER NORTHEAST FUNERAL HOME. A Celebration of Life will be held for Mary at the Loyal Order of Moose #1651 at 1561 Milford Ave Marysville OH 43040 on Saturday, May 7, 2022 from 4pm-7pm.
