Mark Studer

Mark had a wonderful 35 year tenure working in the Physics labs at the Ohio State University. He enjoyed his time at Ohio State and has many cherished relationships and friendships from his time there.

Mark was passionate about hiking and spending time in the Smoky Mountains of Tennessee, a place where he proposed to his dear wife, Barbara, over 30 years ago. In addition to hiking, he enjoyed gardening, playing pool with friends and collecting cars, particularly his 1971 Cuda.

He is preceded in death by his mother, Ruth Studer, his father, William Studer, his sister, Kaye Koons, his niece Barbara Graham and Nephew, Shaun Koons.

He will be deeply missed by his wife, Barbara (Haynes) Studer, his children, Willam Studer and Eustacia Studer, His Brother Chris Studer, Niece Mary Graham and lifelong friends, Vincent Pack, Christian Borgnaes, Myles Stevens and Freddie Rosetti.

Visitation will be held on Monday, October 17, 2022 from 11-1pm at SCHOEDINGER NORTHEAST, 1051 E. Johnstown Rd., Gahanna. At the conclusion of the visitation, the family will travel together to Resurrection Cemetery, 9571 High St, Lewis Center, for a Graveside committal service at 1:30pm.
