Lorraine Reiter

Lorraine Reiter, 84, passed away peacefully in her home surrounded by her family on October 25, 2022. She was born in Bronx, NY August 29, 1938. Lorraine was blessed to spend 67 loving years with her husband, Donald and together they created a beautiful life with their two daughters. She loved to travel the world, particularly Europe, with her husband. Her greatest joy, aside from her family, was opening the year-round Christmas Store with Don in Chagrin Falls, OH. She also enjoyed crafting and created beautiful needlepoints.

Lorraine is preceded in death by her mother Margaret Marianna, brother Edward Brake and sisters Evelyn Pullaro and Mary Wolbert. Lorraine is survived by her husband Donald, brother Thomas Brake (Lynn), daughters Donna LaBarge (Greg) and Sandy Bixler (Mark), granddaughters Jessica Bradbury (Jarrod), Ashley Castricone (Bobby), Lindsey Shaw (Josh) and Brittany Bixler, and great-grandchildren Lucas, Abigail and Nolan.

Lorraine’s family will be hosting a gathering of friends and family at 11 am on Saturday November 12, 2022 at Prince of Peace Church 5475 Brand Rd, Dublin, OH 43017. Celebration of life service will follow at 12 pm with a luncheon after.

In lieu of flowers, the family is requesting donations be made to the following organizations The Hope Foundation in partnership with Capital City Hospice or St. Jude Children’s Hospital.
