Lois was the only female of five older male siblings. She started working in the hospitality industry at the age of 15. It was not long after, she met Wayne Wolfe. They moved to the Columbus, Ohio area and got married in 1957, and had 3 children. They were happily married 42 years before Wayne passed away in 1999. Lois then met David Smith in 2000, and soon they married, and lived a wonderful, retired life together. They were married 22 years when David passed away in 2022. Lois remained in the hospitality industry for nearly 40 years. She eventually moved on to administrative and retail roles until she retired. Lois was very involved in her church and had a strong faith. She loved being with family, bowling, gardening, sunsets, animals, and her friends. No one was a stranger, she made friends everywhere! She was looking forward to seeing all the family, friends, and pets in Heaven, and meeting Jesus. She was the strongest person, and Heaven sure did gain a warrior angel with her!
Lois is preceded in death by her two aforementioned loves; Wayne Wolfe and David Smith; her parents, Arnold and Ruby Taylor; and her older brothers: Orland, Lester, Eddie, Williard, and Henry Taylor.
She will be deeply missed by her children, Vance (Patty) Wolfe, Michael (Julie) Wolfe, and Lisa Wolfe; her seven grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren; three nieces, Patty, Teresa, and Jeanie; and her nephew Larry, along with several great nieces. Lois also had one surviving sister-in-law, Kay Taylor.
