Linda McKitrick

Linda was a warm, creative soul who had a passion for quilting and other crafting activities. She found great joy in spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. In recent years, she developed a joy for traveling, exploring new places and experiencing adventures with close friends, especially on her trips with her friends at Calico Cupboard.

She was predeceased by her loving husband, Daniel 'Dan' McKitrick, and her parents, Henry Walter and Shirley Flowers. She leaves behind her children, Michelle (Tony) Michael, Rhonda McKitrick, and D. Chadd (Sarah Gay) McKitrick; her grandchildren, Joshua Michael, Jordan Michael, Jelissa Michael, Chloe Gay-McKitrick, and two cherished great-grandchildren; as well as her brothers, Gale Flowers, Dale Walter, Terry Walter, and Tim Walter. Linda is also survived by dear friends, extended family members, and a community that will miss her spirit and kindness.

A visitation for family and friends will be held on Monday, December 16, 2024, from 5:00 pm to 7:00 pm at Schoedinger Northeast, 1051 East Johnstown Road, Gahanna, Ohio 43230. A funeral service celebrating Linda’s life will be held the following day, Tuesday, December 17, 2024, at 10:00 am at Schoedinger Northeast. A procession will follow to Forest Lawn Memorial Gardens, 5600 E Broad Street, Columbus, Ohio 43213, where Linda will be laid to rest next to her late husband, Dan.
