Kendall was filled with passion for the loved ones and friends in her life. She brought light into every room she entered. She loved to dance, wear high heeled shoes, ride motorcycles, video gaming, horses, baking and cooking (especially exotic Asian dishes), and going camping with her parents in their RV. She was a beautiful, kind, compassionate soul and was a fierce advocate for equality and justice, for her friends and family.
Kendall graduated from Johnstown High School in 2015, and from Cincinnati State Community College in 2020 with a degree in Culinary arts.
She was preceded in death by her grandmother Bea Colley Bridenbaugh Swartzbaugh, grandfather Gerald Colley, uncles William and David Colley, great grandparents Bernice and Charles Gaiser, Haldane and Corrine Bucher, Warren and Mae Colley, and John and Maddalena Boschian.
She is survived by her parents, Shad and Carol (Colley) Bucher of Johnstown, grandparents Denton and Karen (Gaiser) Bucher of Johnstown; aunts Leah Emery of Uniontown, Anne (Jim) Domanowski of Toledo, Tina (Randy) Kinkaid of Maumee, Jane (Doug Yoder) Monroe of Perrysburg, Jackie (Steve) Sorohan of Medina. Also by uncles Jerry (LuAnn) Colley of Perrysburg, John (Kelly) Colley of Maumee, Matt (Melissa) Colley of Athens, GA, and Troy (Becky) Bucher of Westerville. She is also survived by many great aunts and uncles, cousins, friends, and her two cats Hodge and Sable.
Kendall’s parents would like to express eternal gratitude to the central Ohio sportbike motorcycle group Kendall joined this year for the love and friendship she was given by all the members of it. A memorial ride in her honor will take place Saturday September 7, 2024 starting at 7:00pm at Iron Pony Motorsports and riding to Ghostwriter Public House between 7:30pm and 8:00pm. A tribute will take place there, and then the ride will finish out the trip Kendall was on.
A celebration of Kendall’s life will be held at Schoedinger Margarum East on Johnstown Road in Gahanna on Sunday, September 8 at 12:00pm, with calling hours held from 1:00 to 3:00pm after the service. There will be no internment afterwards. A light meal will be served at the funeral home after the service. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Kendall’s name to the Licking County Humane Society or the organization of the donor’s choice.
