Jeffrey L. Moore, beloved husband, devoted father, esteemed Navy veteran, and passionate advocate of the arts, passed away on February 24, 2024, at the age of 74. Born in Ironton, Ohio, Jeff spent his final years in New Albany, Ohio, leaving behind a legacy of love. He graduated from Coshocton High School in 1967. Honorably served his country in the United States Navy aboard the USS Kitty Hawk from 1967 to 1971.
Driven by his passion for creativity, Jeff graduated from the Dayton Art Institute in 1975. Professionally, he dedicated 22 years of service to the Ross Product Division/Abbott Labs.
Jeff found solace and joy in various pursuits, including his love for the arts, nature adventures with his French Bulldog, Stella, and was an enthusiastic supporter of the Ohio State Buckeyes. He also was a loyal, albeit long-suffering, fan of the Cleveland Browns. Never losing hope despite their lack of wins.
Jeff’s greatest source of pride and joy was his family. He is survived by his wife, Gloria, his sons Andy (Michelle) and Ben (Hanan), his stepdaughter Shannon (Malcom), and his 9 grandchildren, whose laughter and love brought him endless happiness.
Jeff is also survived by his brothers, Gregory (Monica) and Scott (Dana), who will continue to cherish his memory.
He is preceded in passing by his parents, Berkley and Peggy Moore, his brother Steve Moore, and his daughter-in-law Lora Moore. Their spirits live on in the cherished memories Jeff leaves behind.
A celebration of life will be held at Schoedinger Northeast (1051 E Johnstown Rd, Gahanna, OH 43230) on Monday, March 4, from 2:00 - 3:00, with visitation hours following from 3:00 - 5:00. Let us come together to honor and remember a remarkable man whose impact will forever resonate in our hearts.
