

Hannah Kathleen Meseroll, age 78, of Gahanna, Ohio passed away on Thursday, January 4, 2024. She was born in Medina, Ohio to the late Philip and Katherine (Mason) Meseroll. Hannah is preceded in death by her sister Elaine Kelly and brothers Lester and John. She is survived by brothers Daniel and Philip, sisters Maggie Gronek and Tina Collins, as well as many beloved nieces and nephews.
Hannah, lovingly known as Annie Hannie, Hannah from Gahanna, and Hut, treated her nieces and nephews like her own children. She enjoyed many family vacations and hosted fabulous holiday parties and family reunions. She was the rock of our family.
Hannah was a bad ass softball player. You can find her name on the Columbus Slow Pitch Hall of Fame memorial at Berliner Park. She made the all-century team and played in a couple of national championships with the Columbus Redbirds. Hannah was a teacher of health and science at Dominion Middle School. One of her proudest moments was taking a group of students to Washington D.C. where they won the National Energy Education Development competition and met Senator John Glenn. She was a lifetime buckeye, earning her Bachelor’s and Master’s Degrees in education from The Ohio State University.
Hannah loved life and was a role model for all. Her smile, laughter and hugs will be missed.

Visitation for Hannah will be held Friday, January 12, 2024, from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. and Saturday, January 13, 2024, from 1:00 to 3:00 p.m. with the funeral service starting at 3:00 p.m. at Schoedinger Margarum Northeast, 1051 E. Johnstown Road, Gahanna, Ohio 43230.
