Grover Lee Cook, age 83, went to be with the Lord on June 25, 2023 in New Albany, Ohio. He was born on March 19, 1940 in Collingwood, Tennessee to the late John and Barbara Cook.
He enjoyed fishing and especially serving the Lord. He enjoyed reading the Bible and attending services at Johnstown Independent Baptist Church where he was a member.
Preceded in death by his parents, John Cook and Barbara Holt Cook. He is survived by his loving wife, Mary (Nichols) Cook; children, Greg (Karen) Cook, Doug (Beth) Cook, and daughter Diana (Kyle) Newcomb; grandchildren, Taylor Newcomb, Zach (Brooke) Newcomb, Justin Cook, Alicia Cook; and siblings, Tom (Bette) Cook, Reba Staten, and Ruth (Don) Lute.
A visitation will be held on Thursday, June 29, 2023 from 11am-1pm immediately followed by a service at Schoedinger Northeast 1051 E. Johnstown Rd. Gahanna, Ohio 43230.
