Eric Armbrust

Eric’s greatest joy was his family and always put them first. He was a proud father and grandfather who attended all the special events he could. He enjoyed watching college and pro football, especially cheering on The Ohio State Buckeyes.

He was an extremely hard worker and proudly retired on January 3rd, 2024 as the East Regional Director of Engineering for the Cleveland Clinic. He started his career in maintenance at the young age of 19 with Mount Carmel Health Systems. Eric attended Piedmont Hills High School in San Jose, California and graduated from Northland High School in 1971.

Left to cherish his memory are his children Brian (Kristen) Armbrust and Laura Gabrenya (Clayton Everson) whom he shares with Sheree Armbrust; Grandchildren Jaxon, Maddie, Riley, Alaina, Emmy, (Cora); his loving partner Marilyn Ankrom; Mother Carol Armbrust and his sister Christine (James) Eide; also several nieces, nephews, and friends.

Eric is preceded in death by his father Carl Armbrust and sister Royce Ann Hines.

A visitation will be held Sunday, December 22, 2024 from 3:00 PM to 5:00 PM at Schoedinger Margarum Northeast, 1051 E Johnstown Road, Gahanna, Ohio 43230. A visitation will occur the morning of Monday, December 23, 2024 from 10:30 AM to 12:00 PM at Schoedinger Northeast with a funeral service to follow at 12:00 PM. Burial will immediately follow at Mifflin Cemetery, 155 Olde Ridenour Rd, Gahanna, Ohio 43230.
