David Andrew Lewis

David was born on January 18, 1943, in Portsmouth, Ohio. He was preceded in death by his parents David (Huck) Lewis and Virgie Lewis of Ashley Corner in South Webster Ohio. He is survived by his wife of 62 years Birdie (Mault) Lewis, son David K. Lewis, daughter-in-law Dawn L. Lewis, sister-in-law Regina Reilley, cousins, and nieces and nephews. David will be deeply and sorely missed by all who knew and loved him.

He was a graduate of South Webster High School (Class of 1960) and Portsmouth Interstate Business College. He retired from Chemical Abstracts Service in Columbus, Ohio, after 34 years of service.

A visitation will be held on Thursday, April 17, 2025, from 2:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m., immediately followed by a funeral service at 4:00 p.m. at Schoedinger Northeast, 1051 East Johnstown Rd. Gahanna, Ohio 43230. A private interment for the family will take place at Forest Lawn Memorial Gardens.
