David Alan Krumm, age 70, of Gahanna, Ohio, passed away on December 4, 2024. He was born on November 16, 1954 in Columbus, Ohio, to Forest & Patricia (Robison) Krumm, who proceeded him in death. He was a 1972 graduate of Reynoldsburg High School where he played on the basketball and golf teams. David served as a Sergeant in the U.S. Air Force from 1975 until 1979. He then served in the Air Force Reserves after his tour of duty was completed. He attended Louisiana State University (LSU) where he graduated in 1983 with a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration (Marketing). After college graduation, he was employed at Defense Supply Center Columbus (DSCC) as a Supervisory Cataloging Specialist until he retired in 1999.
David is survived by his wife of 33 years, Melinda (Mindy) Krumm. They had two children, Allysson Krumm & Skyler Krumm. He was previously married to Mary Krumm and they raised four children, Tone Martin, Melanie (Danny) Jones, Heather (Ryan) Gulling and Justin (Jenni) Krumm. He is survived by five grandchildren, Ashlynn Martin, Elijah Sowers, Caleb Sowers, Austin Gulling and Gabriella Gulling. David was proceeded in death by two brothers, Richard Krumm and Douglas Krumm. His surviving siblings are Stephen Krumm, Daniel (Norma) Krumm and Diane Noble. He is also survived by several loving nieces, nephews, cousins, aunts and uncles.
David was an avid sports fan, especially for LSU football, Kentucky basketball and the Cleveland Browns. He was a skilled golfer beginning as a caddy in his youth and continuing into adulthood with frequent outings with his father, brothers, other family members and friends. David also had a love for music & history. He often enjoyed sharing numerous stories with others, which was always entertaining. David loved the outdoors & took an interest in landscaping after retirement, from which he started his own business and took pride in the quality & service he provided to others.
Most of all, David cherished his precious moments spent with his family and friends. He was a loving Son, Husband, Brother, & Father & will be dearly missed.
