Born on April 24, 2007, Carolyn's life was marked by a profound dedication to horses and the equestrian community. From the age of 7, she immersed herself in the world of horseback riding, forging a remarkable bond with her beloved partner, Batt in the Night, fondly known as Batman, who faithfully took care of her for 8 years. Carolyn's commitment to horsemanship extended beyond pleasure; she was a member of the American Quarter Horse Association (AQHA) and held multiple leadership roles in the Ohio Quarter Horse Association (OQHA), Eastern Ohio Quarter Horse Association (EOQHA), Southern Ohio Quarter Horse Association (SOQHA), and National Snaffle Bit Association (NSBA). Carolyn excelled at the highest levels of horse showing, indulging in her favorite activity with unmatched passion and skill.
Her dedication to health and fitness led her to the gym, where she cultivated friendships and found great pride in maintaining physical strength and well-being. Carolyn was particularly proud of advocating for healthy lifestyles and supported other individuals living with Type 1 Diabetes. She often indulged in shopping and finding new restaurants to enjoy.
Most recently, she was employed at a coffee shop, where she enjoyed making drinks and meeting new people.
Throughout her high school years, she pursued advanced coursework, working diligently to get ahead and prepare for college. Her exploration of spirituality and faith added depth and meaning to her journey. Cookie, the loving companion dog, will be glad to greet her in heaven.
Carolyn leaves behind a loving family: her parents, Stephanie and Justin Craddock; her brothers, Justin Casey and Cody Craddock; her grandparents, Alan and Debbie Friedman, Mike and Denise Kessler; Aunts and Uncles Darren (Brandy) Craddock, Renee Craddock, David (Rachel) Friedman, Cameron (Alex) Friedman; Cousins Jennie, Michael, and Margaret Craddock and Colin, Asher, and Leila Friedman, as well as lots of great aunts, uncles, and cousins that she cherished.
