Mr. William Corbit Day, 74, of Hokes Bluff, AL passed away Sunday, September 16, 2018. Graveside Services will be at 9:00 a.m. Wednesday, September 19, 2018 at New Bethel Cemetery. Collier-Butler Funeral and Cremation Services will direct.
Mr. Day was born June 5, 1944 to Corbit and Eloise Day, who both preceded him in death. He attended the Smeltzer Educational Center most of his life. Throughout his life he enjoyed attending church at different locations such as, Twelfth Street Baptist Church, Cornerstone Worship Center and New Bethel Congregational Methodist Church.
He is survived by his chosen family and caregivers, Lisa, Steve and Joshua "Josh" Fleming.
In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to the Smeltzer Educational Center, 319 Padenreich Avenue, Gadsden, AL 35903.
There will be no visitation.
