Farrell Ballard, age 84, of Gadsden, Alabama passed away on Saturday, December 12, 2020. Funeral service will be at 11 AM Thursday, December 17, at Collier Butler Chapel with Rev. Larry Ballard officiating.
The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Thursday from 10am until the hour of service. Burial will be at Mt. Pisgah Cemetery. Collier Butler funeral Home will direct services.
Farrell was a graduate of Gadsden High School and a longtime retired employee of Republic Steele. He had many hobbies, but especially loved flea markets, yard Sales, and trading pocket watches and old knives. He also loved Bluegrass Music and Clogging.
He is preceded in death by his wife Mary Fidella Ballard.
He is survived by his children Kathy (Steve) Neyman, Sheila Sheffield, Tammy (Ralph)Brewer, and Matt (Robyn) Ballard; grandchildren Samantha ( Chester) Petersheim, Emily Hopper, Jesse Brewer, and Matthew Ballard; great grandchildren Jeremiah "Charlie" Petersheim and Eleanor Ranea Petersheim.
