Wanda Rose Neal

Mrs. Wanda Rose Neal, age 94, of Gadsden passed away Sunday, March 5, 2023. Funeral Services will be at 2:00 p.m. Saturday, March 11, 2023 at Collier-Butler Funeral Chapel with Rev. Richard Martin officiating. The family will receive friends for one hour prior to the service. Burial will be at Forrest Cemetery.

Mrs. Neal was a native of Mississippi and a longtime resident of Etowah County. She was a longtime member of the Forrest Avenue Cumberland Presbyterian Church until its close, and then attended Alabama City United Methodist Church. Mrs. Neal did tax preparation as a volunteer.

Preceding her in death was her husband of 72 years, Billy Joe Neal, Sr. and her mother, Perry Lee Rumsey.

She is survived by her son, Joey (Cornelia) Neal; grandson, Ryan (Beth) Neal; great grandson, Harrison Neal; great granddaughter, Harper Neal and chosen son, Freddy Naranjo.
