

Funeral Services will be at 2:00 p.m., Sunday, February 6, 2022 at Collier-Butler Funeral Chapel for Mrs. Virginia Brewster Williams, 91, of Rainbow City who passed away Friday, February 4, 2022. Bro. Lauil Thompson will officiate with burial at Crestwood Cemetery.
Services are under the direction of Collier-Butler Funeral & Cremation Services.
Mrs. Williams was a native and longtime resident of Etowah County. She was a member of White Springs Baptist Church where she taught Sunday school and had worked in the office. Mrs. Williams was a member and past president of the Pilot Club and the Red Hat Society. She retired from the business office at Gadsden Regional Medical Center.
She enjoyed traveling, working in her flower garden, bird watching and spending time with her grandchildren, great grandchildren and her cat, “Precious”.
Preceding her in death was her parents, Louie and Sarah Martin; Husbands, Robert Brewster and George Williams; daughter, Karen Robinson; siblings, Eldridge Martin, Louise Chandler, Joyce Pieper, Mildred Cline, Doris D’Angelo and Bill Martin.
Left to cherish her loving memory is her children, Rick (Paula) Brewster; Kim (Marlon) Martin and CSM(R) Randall (Teresa) Brewster; grandchildren, Chad (Jamie) Hall; Heather (Taylor) Villarrel; Elizabeth (Matt) Conn; Lauren (Maj. US Army Tyler Vest; Whitney Lipscomb; Robert (Allison) Brewster; Alex (Ryan) DeLoach; Cortney (Kyle) Hallex; Megan (Evan) Parrish; 21 Great Grandchildren and a host of nieces and nephews.
Pallbearers will be grandsons and grandsons-in-law.
Heartfelt thanks and gratitude is extended to the staff with Kindred Hospice, Tootsie Rogers, Tammy Parker and Savannah Rogers.
The family will receive friends from 1-2 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home.
