Thomas Lavon McRae

Funeral Services will be at 3:30 p.m. Thursday-February 17, 2011 at Collier-Butler Chapel for Mr. Thomas Lavon McRae, age 78 of Hokes Bluff who passed away Monday-February 14, 2011. The Rev. Chad Robertson will officiate with burial at Clayton Cemetery. Collier-Butler Funeral and Cremation Services Directing. Mr. McRae was a graduate of Emma Sansom High School and a veteran of the Air Force. He retired from running his own business in 2000. Those who preceded him in death are his parents, Thomas and Inez McRae, sister, Doris and son, Joey. He is survived by his wife, Jean McRae, children, Dianne McRae, Randy McRae, Charlene (Clyde) Shew, Jack (Andrea) McRae, Paul (Liza) McRae, sister, Sherry (Rick) Correll, grandchildren, Christa Biggar, Christina McRae, Ben McRae, Kendra (Justin) Gunnin, Joey McRae, Brian McRae, Kate McRae and Aiden McRae, great grandchildren, Mattie Wilkens and Collin Gunnin, step children, Scott (Connie) Parkerson, Keith (Lisa) Parkerson and Greg (Christy) Parkerson, step grandchildren, Tiffany Parkerson, James Parkerson, Emilee Parkerson and Kayte Parkerson. Pallbearers will be Rick Correll, Jamie Correll, Chris Correll, Clyde Shew, Keith Parkerson and Scott Parkerson. The family will receive friends from 6-8 p.m. Wednesday evening at the funeral home.
