Thomas H. Franklin

Funeral Services will be at 12:30 p.m. Wednesday-August 17, 2011 at Collier-Butler Chapel for Mr. Thomas Heflin Franklin, age 81 of Gadsden who went to be with the Lord and Savior on Sunday-August 14, 2011. Rev. Ed Talley will officiate with burial at Union Hill Cemetery. Collier-Butler Funeral and Cremation Services Directing.

Mr. Franklin was preceded in death by his wife; Betty Thacker Franklin, parents, James Robert and Oda Franklin, brothers; James, Leroy, William, Loyd and sister; Evie White.

He is survived by his son; Tommy Ray who was the whole world to him and his special Suzy (Susan Boggs), brother; John (Margaret) Franklin.

Pallbearers will be Donnie Franklin, Billy Ray Thacker, Bodie Brasher, Jeffery Thacker, James Franklin and John Ed Franklin.

Honorary Pallbearers will be Dr. Narayan, Bobby Bouldin, Mike Bentley, Tom Wildman, Larry Mason and Employees at Gadsden Water Works

Special thanks to the 700 Hall at Gadsden Rehab Ctr, ICU and CCU Staff at Riverview Regional Medical Center.

The family will receive friends from 5-7 p.m. Tuesday evening at the funeral home.
