Terry Edward Works

Terry Edward Works, 55 of Southside, Alabama passed away July 16, 2020. In Terry’s early years, he attended Glencoe High School and was a member of the marching band. Terry graduated Gadsden State Community College with his cosmetology degree in 1984 and has continued his passion since then. Terry then returned to college and acquired his business degree in 1990. Whenever Terry was not in the salon he would always be in the garden or kitchen. Terry loved planting new flowers, vegetables, and cooking or baking any new recipes he could create. One thing Terry loved most was being surrounded by the love of his family. Anyone who knew Terry would simply say “He was such a special man, I’ve never met someone with such a sweet soul.” Terry was loved by so many people and will be missed dearly. He was preceded in death by Stepfather, Sonny Taylor; Grandmother, Hazel Ozel Webb; Grandfather, Hubert Webb. He is survived by Partner Dan Davis Jr.; Mother, Bonnie Hazel Marshall; Father, James Daniel Works (Florette Works); Sister, Cindy Alyson Powell (Joey Powell); Nieces, Amanda LeAnn Hodge, Hanna Lee Powell; Great Niece, Aaliyah Nicole Hodge, and an abundant amount of friends and clients. Honorary Pallbearers will be Joey Powell, Blake Davis, Justin Hawkins, Waylon Mooney, Ronald Jones, and Wesley Brothers.
