Susan Gwin Hill, age 72, of Southside, AL passed away on Thursday, December 1, 2022. A funeral service will be held at 11:00AM on Tuesday, December 6, 2022, at Collier-Butler Chapel. Burial will follow at Forrest Cemetery. Collier-Butler Funeral and Cremation Services is in charge of arrangements.
Susan dedicated her life to education. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, and sister. Her family meant more to her than anything, and she will deeply be missed.
Susan was preceded in death by her parents, Isaac Garrett and Olgaleen Gwin.
She is survived by her loving husband, Jimmie Hill; sons, Andy (Rachell) Hill and Kevin Hill; grandchildren, Sydney Hill, Emma Hill, Taylor Hill, Landrie Hill, Dantley Hill, and Hudson Hill; sister, Teresa Bearden; and nieces and nephews, Steven (Jennie Beth) Bearden, Deana Bearden, Saylor Bearden, Sloan Bearden, and Mitch Hicks.
The family would like to express a special thanks for Hope Hospice.
The family will accept friends from 9:00AM until the hour of the service at the funeral home on Tuesday.
