Sandra (Gladden) Cornelius

Memorial services will be Tuesday, March 16th, at 6:00 p.m., at Collier-Butler Chapel for Sandra Gladden Cornelius, 67, of Gadsden who passed away Friday, March 12th, 2021. David Murdock will officiate. Arrangements under the direction of Collier-Butler Funeral and Cremation Services.

Sandra was an ER nurse for over 40 years. She was always ready for the opportunity to enjoy life. Whether it be traveling to the beach or road trips with friends, her bag was packed and ready to go in no time. Her most cherished moments would always be the time spent with her granddaughter, Macey. Any time they were together you could usually find them in the kitchen baking together or out in the garden along with her fur baby basset hounds.

Preceding her in death is her parents, Bernice and J.C. Gladden; and brother, Danny Gladden.

Survivors include her daughter, Michelle (Bryan) Connolly; granddaughter, Macey Connolly; sisters, Diane Vickery, Debra (Greg) Murdock; niece, Nicole Farley; nephew, Wade (Gina) Farley; great niece, Harper Gohn; special friends, Cathy Cook, Valeda (Randy) Sitz, and Jerry Snelling.

The family asks for donations in Sandra’s name be made to the Basset Hound Rescue of Georgia (www.bhrg.org)

The family will receive friends Tuesday at the funeral home from 5:00 p.m. until the hour of service.
