Mr. Samuel Keith Pruitt, age 61 of Gadsden went to be with the Lord October 31, 2024.
Sam was a native and longtime resident of Gadsden. He enjoyed doing small engine repair and loved NASCAR racing. He always cheered on Jeff Gordon.
He was preceded in death by his father, Samuel Herstine Pruitt; brothers, Terry and Tony Pruitt; paternal grandmother, Bell Pruitt and maternal grandparents, Travis Lipscomb and Roselle Lipscomb.
Survivors include his mother, Mrs. Frances Faye Pruitt; aunt, Deborah Reeves; cousins, Kim Archer and Connie Redden and other cousins.
In lieu of flowers the family request memorials in Sam’s memory be made to any favorite charity.
A memorial graveside service will be held Saturday, November 16, 2024 at 2:00 p.m. at Mt. Pisgah Cemetery. Rev. David Carroll will officiate.
