Funeral Services will be at 2:00 p.m. Tuesday, February 5, 2019 at Collier-Butler Chapel for Mr. Paul J. King, 85, of Hokes Bluff who passed away Sunday, February 3, 2019. Rev. Thomas Vogler and Dr. Rodney Gilmore will officiate with burial to follow at Pilgrims Rest Cemetery, Southside.
Collier-Butler Funeral and Cremation Services is directing.
Mr. King was a member of New Hope Baptist Church and enjoyed gardening and fishing. He was happiest spending time with his grandchildren whom he loved very much.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Margaret King; sons, Jamie King and Jeffery King; son-in-law, Frankie Woodward and brothers, J. C. , William, Ralph and David King and sister, Gladys Thompson.
Mr. King is survived by his children, Paula (Ricky) Elliott; Judy Buck (Mike) Barber and Kathy Woodward; grandchildren, Alan Kuykendall; Brandi (Blake) Ford; Amanda (Matt) Carroll and Sonny Woodward; great grandchildren, Drew Clay; Hannah Clay, Ethan Ford; Conner Ford; Aidan Kuykendall; Dalton Cook; Riley Cook; Logan Cook; Luke Carroll and Brantley Woodward; sisters, Brenda Stephenson and Louise Amos White; numerous nieces and nephews.
Pallbearers will be Danny Dean; Sonny Woodward; Jason Belyeu; Alan Kuykendall; Blake Ford and Drew Clay.
Special thanks to caregivers, Tabatha Norton; Andrea and Gabe Voytek and their children, Carter and Delilah; Staff with Comfort Care Hospice and Carolyn Bryant, hairdresser and baker.

The family will receive friends from 12 pm until 2 pm Tuesday prior to the service.
