Funeral services will be Monday, May 11, 2015, at 2 p.m., at Collier-Butler chapel for Mrs. Patsy Anne Hunt, 73, of Calera, formerly Gadsden, who passed away Thursday, May 7th 2015. Rev. L. Dale Butler will officiate. Interment will be at Forrest Cemetery.
Mrs. Hunt was born Patsy A. Kircus. Born and raised in Gadsden, she owned and operated various businesses establishments, such as The Riverboat Restaurant, The Mountain Top Club, Mister A’s, and the Panorama Restaurant, with her husband Ed Abraham. After the passing of Mr. Abraham she married James C. Hunt. They enjoyed a wonderful life of over 35 years together residing in the Birmingham area.
She is preceded in death by her husbands, James C. Hunt and Edward Abraham; father, George Thomas “G.T.” Kircus; mother, Mertis Kircus; brothers, Billy Kircus and Walter Kircus.
Mrs. Hunt is survived by her sons, Eddy Abraham, Jason Abraham; granddaughter, Eden Abraham; grandsons, Eason Abraham, Edward J. Abraham, and Garrett “G.T.” Abraham.
Pallbearers will be grandsons, Eason Abraham, Edward “E.J.” Abraham, Garrett “G.T.” Abraham; nephews, Martin Donnie Kircus, Todd Kircus, and Wade Kircus.
The family would like to extend a special thanks to New Beacon Hospice.
Visitation will be from noon until the hour of service Monday at the funeral home.
