Funeral services will 2:00 pm Saturday, August 5, 2017 at Collier-Butler Chapel for Margaret Dean King, age 83, of Hokes Bluff, who passed away Tuesday, August 1, 2017. Rev. Thomas Vogler will officiate. Burial will be at Pilgrims Rest Cemetery, Southside. Collier-Butler Funeral and Cremation Services is directing.
Mrs. King was longtime member of New Hope Baptist Church, serving in the WMU and as a Sunday school teacher. She was a graduate of Hokes Bluff High School. She enjoyed gardening and loved her family very much.
She was preceded in death by her mother Allie Mae Dean; father, Thomas Clayton Dean; brothers, James Dean, Thomas Dean, and William Dean; sister, Ruby Spiliades; sons, Jamie King, and Jeffery King; and son-in-law, Franklin Woodward.
Mrs. King is survived by her husband, Paul King; children, Paula (Rickey) Elliott, Judy Buck (Michael) Barber, and Kathy Woodward; 15 grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren; sisters, Mildred Kontoulas, Jo (Thomas) Vogler, and Shirley (Johnny) Sheppard, brothers, Jerry (Rosemary) Dean, and Danny (Brenda) Dean.
Pallbearers will be Alan Kuykendall, Drew Clay, Blake Ford, Danny Dean, Jason Belyeu, Kevin Belyeu, and Sonny Woodward.

The family will receive friends from 12:00-2:00 pm Saturday prior to the service.
