Graveside service for Irene will be held Wednesday, October 9, 2019 at 1:00 PM at Rainbow Memorial Garden, 1440 W Grand Ave, Gadsden, Alabama 35904-8231.
Irene is preceded in death by her husband Shirley Nichols and her parents, R.C. and Charles Pruitt.
She is survived by many nieces and nephews and special friend Travis Copeland.
Serving as pallbearers are Steven Brown, Matt Copeland, Richard Goodrich and Court Coley.
In lieu of flowers, contributions in Irene's memory may be made to American Heart Association, 7272 Greenville Ave., Dallas, Texas 75231; and Noccalula Church of God, 1209 Noccalula Road, Gadsden, AL. 35904.
The family would like to express their appreciation to Charity and Misty with Amedisys Hospice and Home Health Care, as well as her niece Shelby Brown.
