Mrs. Linda Sue Hathcock

Chapel funeral services for Mrs. Linda Sue Hathcock, 69, of Rainbow City will be held at 2 PM on Saturday, June 19, 2010. Mrs. Hathcock passed away on Wednesday, June 16, 2010. Rev. Wayne Griffith will officiate with burial to follow at Crestwood Cemetery. Services entrusted to Collier-Butler Funeral and Cremation Services.

Mrs. Hathcock was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother. She was a member of White Springs Baptist Church. She enjoyed her cats and sewing dresses for her granddaughter.

Mrs. Hathcock is leaving behind to cherish her memories, her husband of 53 years, Ralph E. Hathcock; son, Dave (Lisa) Hathcock; daughter, Leigh Ann (Byron) Johnson; son, Alan (fiancé, Nancy Trejo) Hathcock, brothers, Jerry Griffith, Ronnie Griffith; grandchildren, Sam and Jacob Hathcock, Blake and Molly Johnson; great-granchildren, Becca and Katlin Johnson; and a host of nieces and nephews.

Pallbearers will be Tommy Griffith, Donnie Griffith, Robbie Griffith, Mike Griffith, Tony Bolton, and Donnie Morris.

The family wishes to express special thanks to Dr. S.P. Sancheti, Rick Bearden family and staff of Rick’s Discount Drugs, and staff of Amedysis Hospice.

The family will be accepting friends on Friday evening from 6 until 8 PM at the funeral home.
