Mrs. Lela Louise Richardson, 74, of Southside, passed away Monday, September 3, 2018. Funeral Services will be at 7:00 p.m. Thursday, September 6, 2018 at Collier-Butler Funeral Chapel. Rev. Bob Hundley will officiate with music given by her nephew, Mike Sargent. The family will receive friends from 5 pm until the hour of service at 7 pm Thursday at the funeral home. Interment, with committal service, will be at 11:00 a.m. Friday at Maple Grove Cemetery, Alexandria, AL. Collier-Butler Funeral and Cremation services directing.
Louise was a native and longtime resident of Gadsden and Southside. She was of the Baptist Faith and enjoyed time spent with her friends at TOPS. She loved her grandchildren and great grandchildren beyond measure and cherished time spent with them.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Mary and Bill Smith; sister, Linda Gaylor; brothers, Leonard and Carl Griffith.
Survivors include her husband of 35 years, Amos Wilson Richardson; daughters, Karon Skinner and Deborah (Chris) Zowodny; sons, Tony (Denise) Richardson and Mike (Laurie) Richardson; 5 grandchildren; 7 great grandchildren; sisters; Darlene Martin and Charlene Litwin; brothers, John (Doris) Smith and Michael Griffith; several nieces and nephews.
Friends and Family will serve as pallbearers.
