Laura Louise Lumpkin

Graveside services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Wednesday, May 17, 2023, at Forrest Cemetery with the Rev. L. Dale Butler officiating. The family will receive friends for visitation from 9:45 a.m. until 10:30 a.m. prior to the service at Collier-Butler Funeral Home

Laura was born on April 23, 1963. Laura was a life-long resident of Etowah County, Alabama and was a graduate of Gadsden High School.

She was a loving daughter, sister, aunt, and great aunt. She had an infectious smile and laughter. Laura was a very giving person, and has been the caregiver and devoted daughter to her mother for many years.

Laura is preceded in death by her father, Hoyt Lumpkin; brother, Gregory Lumpkin; and nephew Dawson Morris.

Laura is survived by her mother, Jackie Lumpkin; sister, Lisa Lumpkin (Jack Morris); niece, Jacqueline Morris; nephew, Jay (Jenny) Morris; great niece, Eliana Morris; uncle, Earl (Janice) Gibbs; aunts Jody Gibbs and Margie Alexander and many cousins who will miss her dearly.
