Larry C. Thomas

Larry was born in Detroit, Michigan and resided in Altoona, AL. He was a Vietnam Veteran and earned various medals and worked at Detroit Metro Airport for several years.

Larry was a loving husband and father who took great pride in all of his grandchildren. He was a character and loved to joke and laugh with everyone he was around.

Those preceding him in death were his mother, Beverly Uhl White; father, Quinton White, Sr.; brother, Quinton White, Jr. and sisters, Patricia Johnson; Linda Dodson and Eunice Cooper.

Survivors include his wife, Mrs. Betty Thomas and daughters, Kristina Taylor and Danielle Owens McDowell; grandchildren, Jordan Thomas; Allyson Thomas; Hayden Thomas; Michael McDowell; Ethan Taylor and Savannah Taylor; brother, Joseph White and a host of nieces and nephews.

The family would like to express special thanks to the Altoona Fire Department; AMED Ambulance Service and the staff at McGuffey Health Care Center.

Visitation will be one hour prior to service at the funeral home.
