Kim Cherrie Mayo, age 42, of Gadsden passed away May 14, 2018. A memorial service will be at 2:00 pm Thursday, May 24, 2018 at Collier-Butler Funeral Home. Visitation will be from 1:00 p.m. until the hour of service.
Kim was born May 16, 1975 in Marietta, GA. She graduated from Jacksonville State University with a Bachelor of Science Degree on April 29, 2000. She was married for a period of time to Josh Klimek of St. Louis, MO.
She was preceded in death by her father, Fred Lee Mayo; mother, Rose Mary Mayo; grandparents, Theodore and Charlotte Gray; grandmother, Eva Mutton; and Uncle, Dale Mayo.
She is survived by her brother, Christopher Lee Mayo and wife, Tawney Mayo; aunts, Eva Mazour and Jan Mayo; half sister, Kelly Gewalt; uncle, Hans Gray and godfather, Phil Owens.
Kim will be laid to rest with her parents at Ten Island Cemetery in Ohatchee, AL.
