Joyce Harrell Lee

Chapel funeral service for Joyce Harrell Lee, of Rainbow City who went home to be with the Lord on Sunday, December 18, will be 11 AM on Wednesday- December 21, 2011. Dr. Michael Yopp will officiate with burial to follow at Lee Family Cemetery. Collier-Butler Funeral and Cremation Services directing.

Joyce was a loving mother, grandmother, and friend to all who knew her. She was preceded in death by husband Eliphus Junior Lee, Sr.; parents, Raymond and Etta Harrell; sister, Geneva; and brothers, Jack, Pete, Phillip, and Clois. She was a member of White Springs Baptist Church.

Remaining to cherish Joyce’s memory will be her children, Vernon (Kaye) Lee, Larry Lee, Nancy (Barney) Beacham, Sonny (Karen) Lee, chosen daughter, Deddra (Ben) Nelson; grandchildren, Christy, Suzy, Chip, Tahlia, Shanna, Zachary, Gavin, Megan, and Jill; six great-grandchildren; siblings, Floyd (Elsie) Harrell, Edna McCreless, Bessie Dean, Allen (Linda) Harrell; and a host of nieces, nephews, and friends.

Flowers will be accepted or donations may be made to White Springs Baptist Church Building Fund.

The family wishes to thank Ladies of Grace Sunday School Class, best friend, Mildred McCartney, Abby, Susan, & Wes ICU nurses at Riverview Hospital, Dr. Debora Reiland, Dr. Nuryan, Dr. Urbina, and Dr. Kwan; and all personal friends and extended church family.

The family will be accepting friends on Tuesday evening from 6 until 8 PM at the funeral home.
