Joe Paul was born December 10th, 1943 in Anniston, Alabama to Charles and Oathel Ridgeway Garmany. The third of five children. Wayne, Rachel, Joe, Mary and Wiley. He met his loving wife Judy at Cranfords Chapel Church of God (North Gadsden Church of God) in 1959 and were married in 1964 where they had a beautiful marriage for over 59 years.
Joe was employed at Goodyear in Gadsden for 41 years where he retired in 2004. He was a member of North Gadsden Church of God, was an avid hunter, outdoorsman and loved sports. He loved his gardens and flowers.
He was preceded in death by his parents, his brother Wayne Garmany and his sister Rachel Garmany Muir.
He is survived by his loving wife Judy Vines Garmany, sons Brett (Barbara) Garmany, Jason Garmany, Josh (Kandi) Garmany and Jim (Leah) Garmany. Grandchildren Justin (Tessa) Garmany, Blaire Garmany, Jackson Garmany, Ella Garmany, Raegan Garmany, Abby Garmany and Wesley Elkins. Sister Mary Griffith and Brother Wiley (Gwen) Garmany. Sister in law Willie James Bishop. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews that he loved so dearly.

Funeral Services will be held on Monday, April 3, 2023 at 2:00pm at Collier-Butler Chapel.
Rev. Eddie Nation and Rev. Tony Smith will officiate. Visitation will be held at 12:30 pm until 2:00pm prior to the service.
